If You Did Not Resize Your Ring In Time There Is Still Hope!

I can't tell you how many times a customer has called us to say "I wish I knew about ring guards before I lost my other ring..."

I know the feeling. I remember the very first ring I had. It was given to me by my mother - a sapphire birth stone. Unfortunately I was too young, and it was too large. I lost it within a month. I knew where I lost it, or rather I knew the general area. Your backyard does not seem small when looking for a lost item, it turns into 10 football fields full of hiding places. Needless to say the ring was lost to me forever.

I recently found out there was still hope for all those lost rings out there!

Go through your jewelry box and take out all those old rings you don't wear anymore. Group them together - see how they look. Maybe you've just created a new unique chunky ring to show off!

I found 3 similar inexpensive silver rings in my jewelry box and thought they looked nice together so I connected them all together using our "JUMBO SIZE RING GUARD" here is what I created...

What size Ring Guard should I buy?

The Small Sized Ring Guard is ideal for a typical women's ring. The arms are about 6mm's long which would fit a ring band of about 3mm thickness.

The Medium Sized Ring Guard is ideal for a typical mens ring. The arms are about 8mm's long which would fit a ring band of about 4-5mm thickness.

The Large Sized Ring Guard is ideal for a ring with a thicker band. The arms are about 11 mm's long which would fit a ring band of about 6mm thickness.

The Jumbo Sized Ring Guard is ideal for a ring with a very thick band, such as a class ring. The arms are about 18 mm's long which would fit a ring band of about 9-10mm thickness.

Our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee on ring guards

Most sites offer some sort of guarantee to their customers but none match our 100% 30 full day satisfaction guarantee.  We are so confident that you’ll love our ring guards that we offer this guarantee with NO questions asked! Even if you have put the ring guard on for 29 days and decide it’s not right for you. We offer 100% money back on the full product price (again, even if it is used!)- Just email us to ask how – It’s that easy!
Most places who offer a guarantee
  • only refund your money if the package has not been opened (we can’t imagine how you’d know if the ring guard isn’t right for you if you never try it).
  • Only offer you store credit in the amount of the purchase or
  • Take a restocking/ return fee.
Not us! When we say 100% satisfaction guarantee no questions asked – we mean it!

Many things effect your ring size.

Many people notice a change in their ring size, sometimes even in the same day, and wonder why. There are many reasons for this to happen. Sometimes it's a nice thing, you think it may be an unexpected (but welcomed) weight loss. It could also be due to the amount of activity/exercise you  had that day. But, more often,  it's a change in the temperature.

In the heat your body retains water - helps keep you hydrated. Rings tend to feel tighter. People feel safer wearing them to the beach, or out doing activities during the day. However at night, when it cools down (or they enter the A/C) they may notice their rings once again feel loose.

In the cold your body does not retain the water. Blasts of colder, dryer air, winter sun exposure and over-heated homes and offices (or tons of sweaters) suck the moisture from your skin, in effect, dehydrating you (and your ring finger).

Some people suggest trying on rings over time to determine your true size. I guess if a ring is on lay-away it's possible (or engagement ring hunting). If you're like me, you very likely buy most rings on impulse - because you liked it. I've never said to myself  "today I am retaining half the water, it's a good idea to ring shop"... have you?

Welcome to our new blog! Just in time for the summer

We're excited to offer our new site blog! Feel free to ask any questions in the comment area.

With Easter over, many people are now thinking of summer (and beaches). Be sure to get your ring guards before you go away.

I remember the day I found a man's 18k gold ring lying on the beach (bet he wishes he had an adjuster on his ring). Luckily I saw a "lost ring" sign and was able to return it, but most people aren't so lucky.

If you're going to wear jewelry on the beach be sure it's protected! I've noticed many people with metal detectors walking up and down the beach - don't let your precious jewelry be their next treasure.

The buzz on our 14 k gold filled Ring Guards

We are always interested in what our customers have to say about our ring guards.  Every so often we do a search on our company name (viewithere.com) to see what the buzz is.  We look at discussions on boards and personal blogs to find out.

Here is just two examples of what our customers have said:

From LadyBugs blog:
http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_journal_individual.asp?blog_id=339123
I randomly ran across a thread about this in a sparkteam which I don’t even belong to (slowcooking for fast lives). Someone suggested buying a Ring Guard. I went to the website (http://www.viewithere.com/rin
g_guard)
and ordered one (size small, in yellow gold). It arrived last night and I managed to put it on my ring with a pair of needlenosed pliars. It’s so awesome! I can barely even feel it, it’s not too tight or poking me at all. It matches my ring perfectly and is barely noticeable unless you look very closely at the palm of my hand.
From the blog post “No longer plus size”:
http://www.currentsofchange.org/Diamond%20Ring%20Guard.htm
My wedding ring can’t be resized (It’s a fully engraved band) and is now about two sizes too big. I found these ring guards and they are awesome. You can’t really see it since it goes on the inside bottom of the band, and it makes me feel a lot less afraid that I’ll lose my ring. They are especially good “interim” sizers if you are waiting to have a ring sized till you lose more weight. Here’s the link…no, I don’t work for them or anything, they just made it possible to wear my ring a little longer. http://viewithere.com/ring_guard/index.html
